KIDS IN THE HALL 2008 TOUR NEWS.

Small Group PictureA brief intro... Who are the Kids in the Hall? Short answer: They were a very funny Canadian Comedy troupe whose shows aired on the following networks together and sometimes simultaneously from 1989 to 1995 on HBO, Comedy Central, CBC, and CBS. The reruns still air on Comedy Central and the Comedy Network in Canada.

Post-KITH work: They have all gone on to do interesting and diverse projects. Dave Foley was on the show NewsRadio, Scott Thompson was on The Larry Sanders Show. Bruce McCulloch as directed films like Dog Park and Superstar. Mark McKinney did a stint on Saturday Night Live and works in films. Kevin McDonald had a short stint on the short-lived Martin Short Show and as also appeared in films like Galaxy Quest and Ladies Man. So the troupe likes to keep busy. Last year they had a very successful tour across the U.S. and Canada delighting fans everywhere. There was a rumor that they will get together to make a movie together, much like they did from "Brain Candy" in 1996. But we'll have to wait and see.

* In case you're wondering, I've dismantled the Trading Board, too many folks thinking they were clever by insulting the intelligence of anyone who happened by there was enough reason for me to decide I didn't want to play referee anymore. If someone else comes up with a new board, let me know and I'll make a link to it. Thank you.

** As you know I took the board down, but another decided to give it a try. So go visit the new KITH Trading Post. Keep tradition alive.
